Position Summary
The Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) provides behavioral assessment, intervention planning, consultation, and training services to support individuals experiencing behavioral, developmental, or social-emotional challenges. The LBA utilizes evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to improve quality of life, enhance skill development, and reduce challenging behaviors. This position collaborates closely with clients, families, caregivers, educational staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and individualized services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Provide direct and indirect behavioral consultation services.
- Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions based on outcomes and progress.
- Train and mentor staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, medical providers, and case managers.
- Maintain accurate documentation, treatment records, and progress reports.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and state licensing requirements.
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and case reviews.
- Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for behavior stabilization.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.
- Current Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential in the state of practice.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification preferred or required, depending on state regulations.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing behavioral assessment and intervention services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies.
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing intervention plans.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Knowledge of ethical and professional standards governing behavioral health services.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral health needs.
- Experience in educational, clinical, residential, or community-based settings.
- Supervisory experience overseeing behavior technicians or support staff.
