Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with individuals with autism and related developmental disorders to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs as outlined in individualized treatment plans
This position is responsible for performing professional work that is substantially varied in nature under general direction from the Senior Behavior Analyst or other appropriate administrator.
The Behavior Analyst is involved in the implementation and evaluation of interventions with individuals with autism to produce socially significant outcomes.

Holds current certification (RBT, BCaBA, or BCBA).
Follows BACB Ethics Code with consistency.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear background check, completed within 180 days of hire.
BACB 40-hour RBT training completed.
RBT certification required (or within 90 days).
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is highly preferred.
Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
Collaborate with team members to deliver early ABA intervention.
Provide services in center, home, daycare, or school settings.
Deliver 1:1 sessions to children and families.
Share insights with the BCBA team for program updates.
Keep client session notes up to date.
Track treatment goals and child progress.
Enrollment in a qualifying degree program in psychology, education, or a related field.
Completion of BACB-required ethics and professionalism training.
Actively accumulating supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA or BCaBA certification (minimum 1,500 concentrated or 2,000 supervised hours).
Supervision provided by a BCBA with active certification and completed supervision training.
Clear background check prior to client interaction.
Strong communication, organization, and professional judgment.
Adherence to the BACB Ethics Code for Behavior Analysts.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is highly preferred.
Implement ABA procedures under direct BCBA supervision.
Collect and record behavior data accurately (frequency, duration, etc.).
Assist with functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
Maintain detailed session notes and update data as directed.
Participate in scheduled supervision meetings and submit documentation regularly.
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other team members.
Protect client confidentiality and follow ethical standards.
Demonstrate ongoing learning and commitment to certification.
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field.
Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Clear background check; commitment to BACB Ethics Code.
Comfortable working under BCBA supervision.
At least 1 year of experience with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred).
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation; able to work across settings (home, school, clinic).
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is highly preferred.
Support BCBA in creating and monitoring behavior plans.
Supervise and guide Behavior Technicians.
Collect, graph, and analyze behavior data.
Conduct assessments under BCBA direction.
Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and other professionals.
Provide direct ABA services as needed.
Keep detailed session notes and protect client confidentiality.
Follow BACB Ethics Code and maintain required CEUs.
Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field.
Active BCBA certification in good standing with BACB
Clear background check and adherence to the BACB Ethics Code.
32 CEUs every 2 years (incl. 4 ethics, 3 supervision).
Proven experience in ABA programs (autism preferred)
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Strong leadership, communication, and data-analysis skills
Reliable transportation for multi-site service delivery.
Bilingual (English-Spanish) is highly preferred.
Lead assessments and write evidence-based behavior intervention plans
Supervise BCaBAs & RBTs, ensuring treatment fidelity and ethical practice
Analyze data to guide clinical decisions and program revisions.
Conduct FBAs, skill assessments, and goal development
Train caregivers, teachers, and staff; present findings in meetings.
Provide direct ABA services when needed across home, school, and clinic settings.
Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidentiality under BACB standards.
