Our Approach to

Diversity and Inclusion

At American Behavioral Solutions, we are committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion of staff members and clients alike, now and in years to come. We strive to make both our therapeutic and supervisory services accessible and effective, and that starts with our responsibility to commit to an inclusive and equitable organizational culture, promoting positive and inclusive language, protecting and supporting staff, and protecting and supporting clients. To ensure this, we need a workforce that is representative of the clients we serve, and we’re always growing our network of team members, trainings, and tools designed to promote professional development and growth. Cultural diversity training plays an important role in our onboarding and annual training schedules, and we hire multilingual personnel so we can expand services to different cultures and languages, never leaving any client behind due to access barriers. We also seek out opportunities for learning more about the cultural and spiritual variables that are important to our client’s whole team – analyst, therapist, family, friends, and service providers. We believe motivated employees who feel like they belong at our organization and can bring their whole selves to their sessions are the key to effective client services, and we emphasize a culture of communication and respect between all parties for optimum treatment delivery.

Translation Policy

Translation Policy

American Behavioral Solutions offers ABA services in both English and Spanish. Policies and procedures, client intake forms, and marketing materials have been created for both languages. Preferred languages are established at intake, for both oral and written communication, to ensure clients and their caregivers can fully participate in treatment. Should a potential client or caregiver request services in a different language, we will first consult with our staff to find an appropriate fit, but if team members cannot provide services in the preferred language, we may opt to use a third party vendor to provide translation services. If necessary, we will allow for family members to serve as translators in lieu of using a translation service. Please contact the case coordinator at 480-656-3530 ext. 1 to request translation services for a language other than English or Spanish, or to request for documents to be translated to a preferred language. All requests for translation services will be accommodated.
